First generation tacoma popping sound and feel when making sharp turns.

Ball Joints What about the upper ball joints? I have some king coilovers cranked up on my Tacoma and I've just recently replaced my uppers due to a nasty pop when I hit bumps. It fixed my issue.

A not so shabby Ram 4500 upfit

Do you mind telling what your company does? By the looks of that fabrication and welding I'd guess a fab shop. Great looking build. I love seeing someone build a truck exactly how they want it. Looking forward to more!

    Love the new Tundra

Hi Ed, I have an 07 tundra which has the same drivetrain as the 2014. The 2014 had the exterior/interior redesign so I can't comment directly on comforts of the 14 but I'll tell you I love our 2007. The longest I've been in the truck was when I sold a Harley and made a 1 day round trip...

My introduction and my 1hz 60 series

Great looking truck. As a Toyota fan I have a great respect for those old cruisers. I keep going through the thought of selling my old 4runner but I don't think it will ever happen. Maybe it can be my son's 1st truck (he's 10 months old now). Cheers.

OEM style auxiliary switches and increased alternator output

For (Toyota) factory looking switches I went straight through a dealership to order duplicate switches that fit into available blanks inside my dash. But the blanks are few and the switches were kind of pricey. I didn't want the light up "zombie" switches either so I built my own panel that I...

Toyota Tacoma/4runner rear axle in Nissan pickup?

I love my E-locker. There will be time involved with setting up the elocker controls circuit (diagrams have been created for this already) and you will need to make sure you can get matching gear ratios if your nissan is 4x4. I've thought about putting an elocker in my 88 4runner because of...

How much would you pay for this?

KBB.com with basic options says $3900 in fair and $4300 in good condition so if it's as clean and sound as the ad suggests $2500 is a good price. Unless someone says "Firm" there's always some possibility of wiggle room on the price. Look for rust, How are the tires, Will you need to do a...

Is the red lighting for better night vision? I've read that red is easier for your eyes to transition back to dark.

    Restoring a 98 Frontier

Hah, you are no doubt going to get a lot of "Buy new" responses. I'd think any car shop that advertises themselves as a "custom" shop would be able to build your truck exactly as you want, but as you've already mentioned yes there will be a lot of cost involved. Flat beds are easy. A...
