I use a lodge cast iron reversal griddle on my Coleman stove, portable gas grill, open fire, or any thing else hot. Iron evens out and transfers heat best. Removing defuse helps if searing ahi tuna or steak.

I had good luck with a hypertext max energy programmer on my 5.4s, and my v-10 excursion. On an f-350 a v-and a 5.4 are similar as far as mpg, both like to spin more rpms than you would think, match your ratio to planned tire size .

Ford f150, easy to mildly lift, multiple cab and bed combos to choose from. Very capable and durable. A Tacoma does not have enough payload for a family of 5.

I have an arb 63 quart fridge that has been running continuously for the past year, no problems but a broken latch replaced under warranty. I would recommend that you buy new just for the 2 year arb warranty. The used ones are not cheap enough.
