    Shot my chicken

I thought the cement backdrop was on purpose. I know I'll never get this whole taking pictures thing. I already told my kids not to get too attached to any of the chicks just in case any of them turned out to be a rooster. They know we will be having chicken for dinner if my girls turn out to...

    Shot my chicken

You must have glued that chicken to the chair. I could not get any of my 4 chicks to sit still long enough for a good pose. Here's "Sunshine"

    Shot my chicken

Great picture. I gave my kids the choice this spring to get Honey bees or Chickens....I guess they didn't think bees would make great pets so they chose chickens. We're having a great time watching these little buggers grow. I'll whip out my new camera tonight and shoot a few fowl shots.

    autostitch panorama

I tried to download the windows live, but was having issues. I did get the microsoft Ice version downloaded. http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/um/redmond/groups/ivm/ice/ It did an OK job, but did not blend as well as I have seen the Photoshop software do. What is the cheapest Photoshop...

I'm a Landcruiser guy so I too would be confused by a D90:victory: Now a D110 is another story all together.

    autostitch panorama

On the way to a funeral in Farmington NM this last weekend we spent a day in Moab and a few hours in Mesa Verde. I just purchased a 4 month old D90 a day before the trip and did a couple panoramic sets of photos with the hopes of stitching them up. Several people here have mentioned Autostitch...

    Simon's M416 Build

How much did you pay for the tub to get cut and bent. I'm working with a company in Utah to do one for me. From the pictures it looks like the sides, ends and bottom are all seperate pieces?

    How much?

I paid $10 almost 3 yrs ago for my 97 40th in Sage with lockers and 145k on the clock. No leather issues. I don't think I got a killer deal, it was just exactly what I was looking for. Plus it was an Arizona truck so there was no sign of rust. I would think somewhere in the $7-8k range would...

Vandals deface southern Utah red rock with graffiti

We were out on the Chicken Corners trail down Cane creek road in Moab a few weeks ago and found spray paint graffiti on the rocks at Hurrah Pass. Tempting to take a trip down again with a compressor and a small sandblaster and clean it off. This was 20 miles out from Moab and these yahoos are...

    D80 body for $300

Ive got a lady looking to sell a 2-3 yr old D-80 body for $300. I am in the market for a DSLR and my sister loves her D80. I figure you can pick up a "kit" lens for $50-75 and be into it for under $400 with a new battery. This would get me started until I could buy some better lenses. The...

    Just bought a M416

I'm building a 416 knock off and am seriously considering not cutting a tail gate into it. I realize the tailgate makes it nice to get stuff in and out, but I am more concerned with keeping stuff clean. Since you don't have metal tools and may be short on paying someone to do a gate, I'd...

Very light duty/load trailer on 1250lb axle - offroad

Booksix, Maybe someone else can chime in with a little more concrete engineering, but I wouldn't be too worried about the towing it down the paved or even graded road. Its when you start putting all the extra dimension loads on it by pulling over rougher terrain that I would start sweating it...

Very light duty/load trailer on 1250lb axle - offroad

Personally I would be concerned with the HF trailer without some sort of axle/tire change. If you really are only going to take it on a few slow fire roads to get to a campsite you would be fine. Taking it over rocky terrain would be scary. Just the requirement for a high clearance vehicle...

    Do you like Pancakes?

I also prefere Ebelskivers and have three pans. They are great on campouts. We've even just used pancake batter so you have pancake poppers.

    SPOT Expands Coverage into Africa

Funny thing about the coverage map is that Spot sucks in Alaska and yet it shows that it works there. We had spotty coverage and then lost all contact for 4 days as we worked our way down river around a short, long hill. Don't get me wrong, i love mine and use it all the time here in the Lower 48.

A Good .22 Hand Gun Plinker......

I have a Walther P22. It's a fun "little" gun to plink with. I say "little" because it is smaller than a lot of them I looked at. This makes it much more enjoyable for the wife to shoot. http://www.waltherpistols.com/category/39-walther_p22_handguns.aspx

    2010 waterproof compact cameras

I have one of the original 5mp Pentax optio wp cameras. It has taken great pictures and been used underwater in Alaska and while snorkeling in Hawaii. I wear it on a string around my neck and it has been through a lot and always worked. I'd buy a newer one in the series.

Has anyone done fiberglass over foam trailer?

We make mold all the time for for both glass work and Vac.forming. If you are going to use a foam like EPS(the white stuff in your new computer box) you will need to coat it with a compatible spray or brush on coating to give you a hard shell. You can then wax that coating and spray your...
