    SUBURBICON, Urban Escape Vehicle.

plasti-dip has a harder time sticking to chrome, so unless you're willing to rough them up you'll need to use an adhesive promoter. You can also bedline them or have them blasted for a bare alum look. I would also troll around and see if anyone wants to trade wheels, amazing how many guys want...

    SUBURBICON, Urban Escape Vehicle.

I hear the Chevy 400 and 700R4 are some of the easier ones to do, but there are a few tools you need and a good way to remember EVERY tiny part you pull out and what order it goes back....Great thing to practice if you plan to do it again in the future, but may be worthwhile to pay someone for...

    Dodge V-10 engine

I have owned 3 V10 Rams and know a number of other owners from other forums like DodgeOffroad and PavementSucks who give many opinions. Overall it's a decent motor if you take care of it. The spark plug wires need to be routed carefully and per instructions to avoid cross-firing and other than...

I think Mike may already have a winch monkey! If you read the article, there was a comment at the bottom from "Gsbbear" who may have been in the top 12..anyway, he was riding Mike's cred pretty hard! LOL. Make sure you zip your sleeping bag all the way up Mike...guy has a hard-on for you!

    The Cactus Red mod thread.

Not to start an argument, but Carli has a set with a better warranty and EMF is coming out with some that should AWESOME! I'm starting to see a lot of reasons to swap in a 2nd gen Ram front D60 it seems... Great info in your thread!

Best Adjustable Track Bar for Late Model Ram 2500

http://www.suspensionconnection.com/cgi-bin/suscon/firestone-air-bags.html I understand where you are coming from, but vehicle weight ratings are set per the manufacturer or an authorized builder and cannot be easily modified by bolting on a product like an air spring. Everything from brakes...

Best Adjustable Track Bar for Late Model Ram 2500

x2 on Daystar cradles! Air bags don't add any load capacity, but just having the truck level makes everything so much more stable and safe. I've broken a number of the plastic spacers and ripped a few bags prior to the cradles coming out. You hard mount the bags to the frame and hard mount the...

Best Adjustable Track Bar for Late Model Ram 2500

I would call around and consider trying other brands of bushings. Can't say anything bad about the Carli stuff, but many manufacturers change the density (durometer) to suit the type of driving they are designed for. I can't say this with any confidence, but maybe Carli runs a less-dense bushing...

Intro! Tell me about the GMT400 K3500- looking at a 4-dr. Chevy 6.5L turbodiesel 4x4

Sorry about being late to the party! Even though you've already decided against using the 16.5" wheels you were interested in, I wanted to share some info for anyone else reading your thread who may be interested in any of the military surplus stuff. The pictures you had of the 12 bolts and...

2007 Dodge Cummins "Power Wagon" Camper

You are absolutely correct that the majority of steering braces out there DO NOT address the issue of frame flex and end damaging the sector shaft if your vehicle runs terrain with needs of high articulation. I don't know of any standard brace that bolts onto more than just the bottom frame sway...

Those look really Really good! Guessing you're planning on plating them in with something? My suggestion would be to go with a grated sheet over the frame and a removable lighter gauge plating for when you're driving on the road or in muddy conditions. There's nothing nicer than being able to...

that block under the pedal seems a little small....LOL! Sounded like you were getting up past the 4K level a few times there. Was that slick rock or were there some other issues I couldn't see as to why you had soo much wheelspin trying to go up?? Wet?? Etc

I knew you were pulling our leg on this whole 6.4L stroker....I mean come on, your hood obviously shows it only has a 5.7 and we know those can't lie!!! LOL Sounds good, you sure you're broken in enough to be running that hard? Sounds like you had the skinny pedal down pretty far most of the time..

Just Differentials Ford F450 4x4 Motorhome on 42's Build Thread

My understanding was that the D70 pinion was marginally bigger, but yes, I understand that there is no real strength increase in the pinon. I already have a set of 5.13 HP Dana gears and long term plan was to possibly cryo them and hope that the additional strength from the ring will help things...
